A type of belt and chest rig suspension method consisting of two straps that attach to the load, run up and over the shoulders, and reconnect with the load; however, running across the shoulder blades is an extra strap attaching the two initial load bearing straps and preventing them from falling. Often considered the new standard to replace the X-Harness suspension, it provides a more ergonomic wear; however popularity remains divided between the H and X styles.
